Spanning a remarkable 200 meters, this verdant thoroughfare is adorned with a resplendent display of 800 crimson lanterns, while shimmering golden fish lanterns symbolizing good fortune gracefully weave through the air. At the central courtyard, a magnificent 8-meter-long dragon installation, aglow with radiant hues, captivates onlookers. On designated days, traditional lion dance performances further enhance the vibrant atmosphere. As the clock strikes 5 o'clock every afternoon, the lantern sea illuminates, immersing visitors in a jubilant ambiance that transcends both day and night.

2. Pacific Place
The recent Christmas decorations at Pacific Place in Admiralty garnered high praise, and now, they are poised to surpass expectations once more for the upcoming Lunar New Year. Embracing the theme of traditional garden architecture, the plaza has once again transformed into a breathtaking destination for photo enthusiasts. Renowned local floral artist Karen Leung has been invited to create a floral masterpiece, weaving together over ten thousand blossoms to form a towering 3.5-meter-high peach blossom tree. The pavilions and pavilions adorned in peachy hues are embellished with intricate dragon motifs and scale-like textures, skillfully incorporating the interplay of perspective and light to create a visual spectacle brimming with meticulous details. If you plan to bring your pets along for the visit, please take note that pets are not allowed on the floor. If you need to rent a pet stroller, you can visit the service desk on the L1 or L2 floor of the mall. Each pet stroller requires a HK$500 deposit.

3. Times Square Open Piazza
Times Square in Causeway Bay may not be recognized as a pet-friendly mall; however, its open-air photo spots are located in public areas, attracting numerous pet owners who bring their beloved cats and dogs for memorable snapshots. This year, the theme of the decorations is "Blossoming Spring," a collaboration with the acclaimed award-winning songstress and my personal favorite female singer, Panther Chan, who is also a master of textiles. Together, they have created a magnificent 9-meter-long tunnel adorned with blooming spring flowers, a mesmerizing pathway showcasing a myriad of treasures, and a towering floral drum. The enlarged woven floral patterns, coupled with neon light embellishments, exude a captivating luminosity and playful charm. There are also many pet-friendly restaurants and places to visit in the Causeway Bay area. You can use the PET-A-HOOD mobile application's "Search Nearby" feature to bring your cats and dogs along for some photo-taking and check-ins, and even plan your next itinerary!

4. Metroplaza
The meticulous efforts put into the New Year decorations at Metroplaza in Kwai Tsing are truly commendable. They have crafted three captivating photo spots that are sure to impress. The "Luminous Stairway of Lanterns" is a stunning creation composed of over 388 intricately designed lanterns, radiating with a dazzling array of colors and sparkling like stars. The "Elegant Pavilion of Ancient Charm" stands tall at 3.5 meters, resembling a graceful garden adorned with neon-lit giant lunar flowers, creating a mesmerizing interplay of lights and shadows. The "Trail of Golden Leaves" features a colossal golden-leaf tree that shines brilliantly and captivates the eye as night falls. Each of these scenes possesses its own unique charm, harmoniously complementing one another, and exuding an atmosphere brimming with jubilation. Whether with family, partners, or beloved pets, taking photos and checking in is absolutely stunning and sunny! 5. New Town Plaza
The Lunar New Year serves as the perfect occasion to immerse oneself in the rich tapestry of traditional culture. This year, New Town Plaza in Sha Tin has chosen the theme of intricate folk art knotting, collaborating with the talented local knotting artist, Zoe Siu, to present six delightful photo spots that embody the essence of this ancient craft. Under the arch of a pink concentric knot, colossal flowers bloom in abundance, while a pink vase brims with embroidered hydrangeas. Soft woven chairs enveloped in a profusion of blossoms invite visitors to take a seat, and adorable, nimble-woven golden fish add a touch of charm. A wishing tree adorned with auspicious symbols and flowers, as well as a floral sea of hydrangeas, further enrich the scene. The mall also has a Pets Park where your furry friends can run and play, and some pet-friendly restaurants and pet supply stores too. Why not consider spending half a day with your beloved pet to experience the festive atmosphere?

Although Citygate Outlets is not located in the city centre, this year's New Year decorations have attracted numerous cat and dog owners who have ventured there in admiration. The mall's adornments revolve around the theme of a floral wonderland, with shades of pink as the predominant hue, interspersed with elements of traditional Chinese courtyard aesthetics. The enchanting creation titled "Butterfly Dance ◦ Blossoms in View," crafted by the talented local floral artist Jennifer Hung, boasts a magnificent display of 88 paper art peonies, poppies, orchids, hydrangeas, cherry blossoms, and narcissus, all standing at an impressive height of 1.5 meters. The resplendent arrangement fosters a dreamlike ambiance, leaving visitors in awe and providing an ideal backdrop for capturing unforgettable moments.

7. AIRSIDE
The AIRSIDE at Kai Tak has emerged as the most talked-about pet-friendly new shopping destination in the past months. This Lunar New Year, it has also embraced the festive spirit by adorning itself with thematic decorations. To welcome the Year of the Dragon, they have created a grand installation titled "Leap of the Flying Dragon Wishing Garden." The combination of translucent shades of pink in its contemporary design exudes a perfect blend of modern aesthetics and traditional New Year ambiance. The dragon dance display, meticulously crafted by artist Lin Wai-keung using recycled victory flags from dragon dance performances, is accompanied by an abundance of floral embellishments, creating an inviting atmosphere for pet owners to capture memorable moments. From February 3rd to 12th, there will be a pet-friendly Spring Market , featuring 200 local cultural and creative brands, as well as busking performances and DIY calligraphy activities, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

8. Langham Place
While most shopping malls celebrate the Lunar New Year with red flowers and lanterns, Langham Place in Mong Kok takes a unique approach by featuring the beloved Disney cartoon character Uncle Scrooge McDuck as the centerpiece. The iconic scenes from the opulent and extravagant Money Bin are faithfully recreated, enveloping the entire venue in a shimmering golden glow, exuding an air of prosperity and abundance. Enormous diamonds, gold coins, treasure vaults, and the wealth-seeking Uncle Scrooge himself beckon visitors to capture picture-perfect moments. This whimsical display is especially suitable for pet owners who still hold onto their youthful spirit, as they can bask in the aura of fortune and good luck. The mall provides pet stroller rentals. If you need one, simply head to the 1/F or 4/F customer service center for assistance.
