Whiskers N Paws (WNP), a one-stop pet supplies store & pet adoption station has launched their annual charity drive “Operation Santa Paws”.  Pet-A-Hood has joined the operation to call for public to bring Holiday Cheer to shelter animals during this giving season, bring on the festive joy to animals’ living in shelters, and allow them to enjoy a deluxe Christmas meal!

About Operation Santa Paws

Whiskers N Paws addressed that  “Non-Profit Animal protection organizations spend a lot of money on caring for shelter animals every year. The cost of animal medical treatment alone exceeds HK$4 million. The financial support of the public is particularly important for their continuous services. Your long-term awareness and support can help more animals in need and offer them stable living conditions.”

Whiskers N Paws (WNP), a one-stop pet supplies store & pet adoption station, will launch their annual charity drive “Operation Santa Paws” from 8th Dec 2022 to 1st Jan 2023. Program calls for public to bring Holiday Cheer to shelter animals during this giving season and bring on the festive joy to animals’ living in shelters.

Started in 2013, “Operation Santa Paws” is a charity drive near and dear to WNP. Every Christmas, the city is called to donate new or second-hand pet supplies, as well as animal food and snacks, to local organizations that rescue stray animals.

This year, WNP has expanded the support. In addition to increasing the number of participating beneficiary organizations to 15 non-profit animal protection organizations.

Food and snacks donation to bring X’mas feast to shelter animals

Apart from donation, public can also support this charity drive by donating animals’ food and snacks to shelter animals via collection boxes at various locations across Hong Kong.

Unopened and non-expired food and snacks donations can be dropped off to these adorable 1-meter-tall chimney like collection boxes. Boxes are decorated in Santa costumes with furry friends on the sides, to signify and share the love and blessing to shelter animals during this festive season.

While donating, capture the moment and spread the word to families and friends. In order to educate paw-sitive love and care for animals, Parents are encouraged to participate this meaningful activity with their children this festive season.

After the collection period, WNP will organize the food and snacks to be donated to beneficiary organisations based on their particular needs. Sending shelter animals love and blessings!

1. This promotional activity is organized by Whisker N Paws (the “Organizer”). PET-A-HOOD is the pet media partner of this promotional activity.
2. All participants must be a valid Hong Kong Residents.
3. All participants must be aged 18 years or above and be able to provide a valid Hong Kong address.
4. Unless required by law, or to protect the legalized benefit of the organizer, The Organizer will not share the participant's personal information with third parties
5. Participating in the campaign means to agree the Organizer and the partner to use related qualified participants’ name, participation content/photos as promotional, advertising or trading purpose, and no compensation, notification or request for approval is required.
6. Qualified participants will receive a winner notification email from PET-A-HOOD on or before Jan 30, 2023.
7. The campaign is just applicable for mobile app.
8. Every registered member email can only participate once, if the same email account participates more than once, it will be counted as one-time participation and will be chosen in accordance with the campaign guideline, and will follow the decision of the organizer.
9. Participants will be responsible for any impacts related to the disconnection of internet or the malfunction of phone or computer software, the organizer will not be responsible for any.
10. No individual notification will be sent to unsuccessful participants.
11. Gifts cannot be changed into any cash or other gifts options.
12. The promotional photos are for reference only. The actual product may vary, and successful participants shall not dispute this.
13. Participants are responsible for ensuring the truthfulness, accuracy and legality of the information provided (including personal information) The participant shall bear responsibility for any problems arising from incomplete submission, failed submission, falsification of information and/or incomplete information on the participant’s personal information, etc.
14. The information provided by the participants cannot be modified after submission. All information is subject to the records provided by the participant, and any incorrect or incomplete information will be deemed invalid.
15. The Organizer and its affiliates will not be responsible for any problems or data loss caused by the participant’s accidental exit of the promotional website, or due to any technical problems such as website/computer programs, viruses, hackings, system failures, etc.
16. Participants warrant and represent that they will not participate in this promotional activity in a fraudulent or deceptive manner. The Organizer reserved the rights to verify the authenticity of any personal information provided and to disqualify any participant who has failed to comply with these terms and conditions, or any participant who cheats or falsifies his/her account.
17. The Organizer will reject, move or delete any reviews which contain inappropriate, malicious or promotional content. The Organizer reserves the right to make the final decision on the publication of all reviews at its sole discretion without providing any reason or notice.
18. By participating in this promotional activity, participants are deemed to have consented to the use of their personal data for direct marketing purposes. Participants have the right to opt out of receiving marketing information from the Organizer at any time. Participants may do so by (a) contacting the Organizer via email support@petahood.com or (b)by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the marketing emails.
19. Employees of the Organizer and the marketing agency of this promotional activity, as well as their family members, are not allowed to participate in this promotional activity as a matter of fairness.
20. Participants agree to release the Organizer from all liabilities, demands, claims, damages or lawsuits, regardless of the cause, arising out of or in connection with this promotional activity, including but not limited to the negligence of the Organizer. The Organizer shall not be liable for any loss, theft, damage or injury to any property or person, whether arising in contract, negligence, equity or otherwise.
21. Participants acknowledge and agree that they are participating in this promotional activity at their own risk. Participants are advised to read all information, labels and warnings on the product packaging in advance. The Organizer is not responsible for the accuracy and reliability of the product information. To the extent permitted by law, the Organizer makes no representation and warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, with respect to the content or service of the product, including but not limited to, the product’s quality, merchantability, non-infringement or fitness for purpose.
22. Participants acknowledge and agree that the Organizer’s decision on all matters relating to this promotion shall be final and binding.
23. The Organizer reserves the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions without prior notification or consent of the participant.
24. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese version of these terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
